Teenager Causes SUV Rollover

A teenager turned himself in after causing an accident due to reckless driving. She was merging into a passing lane, at that point another SUV flipped and rolled while trying to avoid hitting her. The SUV driver only received minor injuries.

Tragic ATV Accident Injures Two Children

A tragic accident involving an ATV resulted in the injury of two small children. The extent and circumstances of this accident are still not clear, but the children were life-flighted to a local hospital. Initial reports seem to indicate their injuries were serious. Their father apparently had crashed the ATV into a tree. No one had a helmet on.

18 Wheeler Accident Leaves One Dead

A tragic accident in Conway, South Carolina involving an 18-wheeler left one person dead and two others with minor injuries. Police investigators and the Highway Patrol accident reconstruction team are still investigating the cause of the accident. The 18-wheeler crashed through a guard rail and three other vehicles were in some way involved in the accident. The name of the victim has not yet been released.

Woman Killed In Hunting Accident

A elderly hunter shot and killed a woman early this week in a hunting accident. A police spokesman believes that the woman was out on a walk when she was killed by a single gunshot wound in her stomach. The hunter has been charged with criminal negligence causing death and careless use of a firearm.

Seatbelt Saves Driver From Serious Injury in Roll-over Crash

A rollover accident in Columbia City, Indiana resulted in serious injuries to five teenagers. The accident occurred as 16-year-old Michelle A. Cox, driving at a high rate of speed, lost control of her vehicle. According to a police spokesman, “We believe they rolled [the car] at least five times….there should have been at least four people dead.” Four out of the five teenagers were ejected from the car and sustained serious injuries. The driver, who was the only one wearing a seatbelt, was not ejected from the car and received the most minor injuries.

Car Accident in Maryland Causes Death of Elderly Woman

An car accident in Baltimore County, Maryland caused serious injuries and the death of an elderly woman. The woman was a passenger of a vehicle which was struck head-on when pulling onto Park Heights Avenue from Starburst Drive. The driver and other passengers in the woman’s car were injured and taken to Sinai Trauma Center. The second vehicle’s driver was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in serious condition. Police are not releasing the names of the victims to allow time for additional investigation and family notification.

Hunting Accident Causes Serious Injury to Young Boy

An hunting accident in Lafayette, California resulted in a young boy being shot during a pheasant hunt. Dreyson LeDoux ended up losing sight in one eye because of his injuries. The boy was shot accidentally when a pheasant was flushed out of the nearby bushes by their hunting dog. The boy had to go though half a day of surgery in hopes of saving the sight in his other eye, which was also injured during the hunt. The accident occurred in the Feather River Wildlife Area.
