Another Recall for Bausch & Lomb
It's already been plagued by claims that its Renu with MoistureLoc contact lens solution causes fusarium keratitis which can lead to blindness and a massive nationwide recall. Now contact lens solution company Bausch & Lomb is recalling 1.5 million bottles of ReNu MultiPlus after revelations that the contact lens solution has trace amounts of iron, which could cause the product to lose effectiveness.
"I want to emphasize that this is completely unrelated to and different from the MoistureLoc recall," said a company spokesperson. Bausch & Lomb believes that most of the affected product has already been used.
