Pet Food Recall Leads To Human Panic
The FDA has announced a massive recall of "cuts and gravy"-type wet dog and cat food in a sweeping nationwide recall, causing panic among pet owners concerned about the welfare of their dogs and cats. The food has been linked to kidney failure and death in some cats and dogs and affected products failed manufacturer trials.
The dog and cat food recall covers pet food manufactured in Menu Foods' Emporia, Kansas facility between December and March. The food is sold at many major retailers, including Kroger, Safeway, Wal-Mart, PetSmart, and others.
