Grifulvin V®/Griseofulvin Oral Suspension Recalled
The federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that Grifulvin V®/Griseofulvin Oral Suspension, a drug used in the treatment of ringworm and other fungal infections, is being voluntarily recalled by manufacturer Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc.
The recall is related to broken glass found in at least two bottles of the liquid medication. The FDA is advising consumers to return the recalled product to their pharmacy; consumers may visit www.aboutgrifulvin.com for more information on affected lot numbers.
